Bunella ("we", "us", "our") provides the Bunella budget-tracking application (the "Service"). These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

2. Eligibility and account registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Use of the Service

The Service is provided to help you track your spending, budgets, and other financial information. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or related systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its servers or networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit any harmful, unlawful, or objectionable content.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the financial information you enter or import into the Service. You grant us a licence to use, store, and process that information solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide any information you upload.

5. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, such as your sign-in provider and open-banking providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will try to give you reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

7. No financial advice

The Service provides tools to help you understand and manage your money, but it does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You should obtain professional advice where appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, features, and functionality (including all software, design, text, and graphics) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bunella will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred pounds (£100) if you have paid nothing.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bunella and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Where we terminate your account, we will delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. We will notify you of material changes where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
